Split bill calculator
Type the total you actually paid and who was there. Each share comes out to the cent and adds up to the bill exactly. If people had different things, split by item and the bill is shared in proportion to what each person had. Then show each friend a PayNow QR for their share. Free, no sign-up, and nothing leaves your phone.

Collect by PayNow
PayNow QR is for Singapore dollars. Switch the currency to SGD once you have converted the shares.
Each friend’s QR has their share filled in. It is made on this page; the number is never sent or saved.
Enter the payer’s PayNow mobile number, then tap a friend’s QR button.
Check the name in your banking app before paying. Perfingo never holds the money.
How the split works
- Equally: the total paid is divided by the number of people. When it does not divide exactly, the spare cents go one each to the first people on the list.
- By item: each item is shared by the people who had it. The total paid is then shared in proportion, so the shares always add up to the bill.
- Any currency: yen, won and rupiah split to the whole unit; dollars, baht and ringgit to the cent.

Splitting a bill, answered
How do I split a bill equally?
Enter the total you actually paid and the people sharing it. The calculator divides it to the cent. When it does not divide exactly, the extra cents go to the first people on the list, one each, so the shares always add up to the bill.
How do I split a bill when people ordered different things?
Choose "Split by item", add each item with its price and tick who had it. A shared dish is divided among the people ticked. The total paid is then shared in proportion to what each person had, so a discount or rounding on the bill is shared fairly too.
Does the calculator add service charge or GST to my total?
No. The amount you enter is what was paid, and it is never increased. Only when you split a Singapore bill by item can you tick "Prices are before ++" to work out the bill from menu prices, and even then a total you type wins.
Can I split a bill in yen, baht or another currency?
Yes. Pick the currency before you enter amounts, and shares are rounded to that currency’s smallest unit, so yen and won split to the whole unit. The PayNow QR is for Singapore dollars only.
How do my friends pay me back?
Enter the mobile number you use for PayNow and each friend gets a PayNow QR with their share filled in. They scan it in their banking app, check that the name shown is yours, and pay. The QR is made on your phone; we never see your number or the money.
Do my friends need an app or an account?
No. The calculator runs in the browser and needs no sign-up. To pay, your friends only need a banking app that scans PayNow QR codes.
Can I split a whole trip, not just one bill?
Trip groups are coming in November: a shared trip where everyone adds what they paid, in any currency, and you settle up with the fewest transfers. Leave your email on this page and we will tell you once when it is ready.
The bill is split. Where does the rest of your money go?
Perfingo plans your spending, savings, CPF and goals in one place, so a trip or a big dinner is part of the plan, not a surprise.
