What does each signal on the client list mean?
| Signal | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Client name | The household’s label, or the owner’s name, or “Unnamed client”. |
| Access badge | Your current access level: View only, Can edit plan, or Full access. |
| “Invite pending” badge | The client exists in the app but hasn’t logged in and claimed their seat yet. |
| Setup progress | Which planning screens are filled in, so you see at a glance who has gaps. A count such as “2 modules need fixing” appears when a screen has errors. |
| Cashflow line | “Cashflow: shared by client”, “Cashflow: not shared”, or “Cashflow: included with full access”. It tells you whether you can see their spending. |
| Last update | “Updated this month”, “Updated 3 months ago”, “No balances logged yet” or “Invite not accepted yet”. Your nudge cue. |
Rows sort by most recent plan activity: the client whose plan changed last sits on top, and clients with no activity yet sort to the bottom. Setup progress and the last-update line are your nudge signals. On a phone, a tap opens a read-only summary first. See On your phone.
If your list is empty, the screen says “No clients yet”: no one has shared a plan with you yet. Ask a client to tap “Share with an advisor” in Profile or More. They appear here once they share (see Adding a client), or once Perfingo’s admin team sets one up.
How does the client list work on a phone?
On a phone, the client list is its own screen, led by a search field: “Search clients, insurers, policies.” It matches a household’s name, or any insurer or policy on its plan, so searching an insurer surfaces every client holding it. Pulling down refreshes the list. Every row shows the same signals as on desktop.
The summary screen
It leads with your access badge, cashflow sharing, and recency, then each person’s age, which planning sections are set up, yearly premiums, and every policy. The financial-freedom age is deliberately not shown: showing it would mean a fresh calculation just to open a summary.
A single “Open full plan” button is the only way from here into the client’s actual plan. If the client hasn’t accepted your invite yet, a note replaces the button. If your access was revoked since you loaded the list, you’ll see “Client not found.”
Getting there and back
With no client picked, the phone bottom bar shows one Clients tab leading here. Inside a client’s plan, the bar switches to their tabs. The fastest way back is All clients in the context banner, or the Clients link in the overflow menu (the three dots).
