What are the current limitations?
- Modelling on View only doesn’t visually disable fields. Rely on the banner and footer, not how a field looks. See Working in a client’s plan.
- No “discard changes?” warning when leaving a View-only what-if session. Changes are silently, and correctly, dropped.
- A removed seat can briefly surface as a generic error on a few screens before the app catches up and returns you to the client list.
- Deleting a holding removes its trades and set-asides in separate steps. If access is revoked mid-delete, part may land. The app names exactly what happened and refreshes.
- You can’t author a client from scratch in the app, or assign a client between advisors. A client reaches your list by sharing their plan, or through the Perfingo admin team. By design.
- The phone client summary never shows the financial-freedom age. Showing it would mean a fresh calculation just to open a summary. See On your phone.
- The MAS Representative Number you declare is not verified. Activation checks only that it’s the right shape (letters and digits, 3 to 20 characters), never against the MAS Register. Operators spot-check and can revoke access by hand.
- You can’t change a household’s net-worth setting, even to explain it. Whether home, mortgage and CPF count is the client’s to set, and both switches (“Count home & mortgage” and “Count CPF”) start off. You get no controls at any level.
- Your advisor subscription can only be bought on the web. There is no in-app purchase on iPad, so an inactive subscription found there has to be fixed in a browser.
- You don’t get the money report. Households generate a written monthly report and share cards from their own numbers. Acting for a client, you get no entry point at all, not a disabled one. See the money report guide.
